1994 Strike

Baseball was at a debacle players felt that they were not getting paid what they deserved. Fans were not attending the games baseball was losing hype. That's why in 1994 the union called for a strike to freeze the 1994 season. And making 1994 the first time in 80 something years the World Series would not be played. No one owner was happy, they had to work an agreement and bring excitement back to the game. To do this they would have to pay their players, and generate a bigger revenue. hey would eventually do this and when they get through this debacle magic would soon embrace baseball for the greater good via the long ball!
